Imagine this: It’s still dark out. You’re putting on your sneakers, picking up your water bottle, wondering, “WHY DID I GET UP SO EARLY?!?”
And an hour before the sun breaks over the hills, you meet your guide, you check your bike, and you’re off riding…
Jerusalem is still asleep, seems barely after midnight as you ride down the train tracks and into the first of the Old City’s gates. Exploring alleyways that a bicycle could never ride on during the usual hustle and bustle of one of the world’s holiest sites. Take a short break and watch the sun rise – this is why we got up so early.
By the time we return, we will have circled the entirety of the Old City’s walls, previewed each of its gates, watched the city coming to life, and all this before most people have eaten breakfast.
